A My Health Focus Insight Series
We are currently looking for patients, carers and family members to take part in recorded online video conversations exploring experiences of healthcare, communication, research and patient engagement.
Selected participants will take part in a relaxed 30–45 minute online video conversation and will receive a £30 thank-you payment (or the equivalent in local currency) for their time and contribution.
The Patient Engagement Gap is a new My Health Focus insight series exploring how people experience healthcare communication, trust, research and patient involvement in everyday life.
Many people still feel:
- unheard
- overwhelmed
- excluded from decisions
- confused by information
- uncertain who to trust
At the same time, there are also examples of healthcare and communication being done well, experiences where people feel respected, supported, and genuinely listened to.
Through a series of recorded conversations, we hope to highlight thoughtful real-world perspectives around:
- communication
- trust
- research experiences
- emotional impact
- patient involvement
- what meaningful engagement looks like in practice
Short clips from these conversations may later be shared across My Health Focus content channels as part of the series.
Not everyone who expresses interest will be selected, as we are aiming to include a broad range of experiences and perspectives.
Where do I sign up?
